The first meeting to plot out a strategy to bolster the nomination of the Saanich Peninsula Hospital Foundation for a Saanich Peninsula Chamber of Commerce Crystal Award was held on Wednesday, February 3rd. Although a nomination for the award requires only ONE letter of support, the Crusaders are determined to showcase the value of this great organization by arriving with an avalanche of support from residents of the Peninsula.We're hoping to achieve this through speaking out at service clubs and municipal meetings, providing support forms for people to sign at key places in the community and using the internet. We'll speak to residents whenever or wherever else we can find a crowd (large or small). We'll be getting out in the community looking for supporters of the SPHF willing to show how much they appreciate the Foundation's efforts over more than 20 years. This is one SPHF campaign that does NOT require any monetary contribution!
